Are you an Educator or IT Administrator who manages a Class/Lab installation of Fusion 360®?  You may need to take action prior to July 14, 2021 to ensure uninterrupted product access for your students.

As we develop Fusion 360, we are constantly adding improvements and critical bug fixes with each product update.  On July 14, 2021, we will be making upgrades that will enable more powerful workflows. This means that if your version of Fusion 360 is 2.0.9937 or older, you will need to update to the latest version.

Check today which version of Fusion 360 you are running in your Class/Lab installation. Simply sign in to Fusion 360, go to the Help menu (question mark icon), and select About.

Learn more.

Hi Gabe, thank you for your recent work on the licencing for students, I think it will really help.

We have found an issue this term, we can't start any of our installs of Fusion 360. No problem we thought, we'll just deploy the latest installer. We cannot find the stand-alone lab installation exe anywhere. Can you advise please?

Kind regards,

James

Hi James,

Thanks for the message. You can download the latest Fusion 360 lab installer when you login to the Get Products page of the Education Community, then click the Fusion product card.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Gabe

Hi @jgreenEBECL,

Thanks for sharing the screencast. Per our exchange in this related forum thread and via email, I think you should be all set now with access to the latest Fusion 360 lab installer, right?

For others who may see your screencast, the experience you were seeing was for an educator who selects the subscription option (125 subscription seats you can assign to students via the Class/Lab tab in the Get Products page) vs. the network licensing option—a one-time choice you, as an educator, make when accessing the Class/Lab tab.

Regards,

Gabe

Just want to say publicly how helpful you've been. 70% user error on our part. Thank you. Maybe some more UI changes to help users make sense of it all!?
