Account data loss after email change

Hi everyone,

I have ran into a bit of a problem and would appreciate a helping hand. I was previously enrolled in a university A and made an educational account with that email. I have used it throught my time there after which I moved on to postgraduate study at university B. In the process my previous email A got deleted and I changed my email to the current university B one for verification purposes yet I could still log in with A in fusion 360. Yesterday I was prompted with a licence expired message and went on to renew it process which signed me out of my account. When I tried to log back in fusion 360 my university email A which worked before was no longer recognised. Using my university B email I could log in but in the process all of my files were gone. Is there any way to gain access to the previous account? I have some shared projects across these accounts (backups) and I can see the owner is still my university A email but I can't log into it.

Is there anything I could do to recover my work?

My question is similar to this https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/all-of-my-files-are-gone/m-p/10713754#M136082 and I can see 3 alphanumeric names but I am not sure if I can do anything to recover data from there.

Thank you very much for your help

I have no idea if this will work out, as I am not going to try it myself, but I think it may, at least it is worth a try.  When you are log into the Forum, can you log in using your old Autodesk ID?  If so, continue reading.  Log in the the Forum using your old Autodesk ID.  Go the the name/picture log in icon in the extreme right hand corner of the Forum.  Select Password and Security under My Profile and Settings (see Screen capture below).  Once there you will see where you can edit your email address for the old account, the one that your created your Fusion 360 work in.

As I say, I have not tried this but it seems logical to me but it is your decision.  By the way, if you can still log in using your old Autodesk ID, your data is all saved on the Web Database where you can download it, painfully slow I might add.  The site to try this in is Accound Settings.jpgEmail Change.jpg.

I have tried but unfortunately it says that the email is not recognised although I can clearly see the account in some of my shared files. It is a very wierd situation. Could an admin either share the remaining folders with the current account in any way?  I can provide proof of the accounts and emails if needed.
