Accidentally deleted file

I just deleted a file - mistaking it for a different version of the file I was working on.

I have sorted through the forums for an answer - as I assume this is a constant issue for users.

I deleted this file about 15 minutes to 20 minutes from this posting.

Please help!  THANKS!

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the community forum and thank you for posting! Just to check, how did you delete the file? Did you hit "Yes" when you saw the message below? If that is the case, there is not a way to recover the file unfortunately.

ACK.  Ok. That is the case.  Thank you.  Now to re-do 5 days.  🙂  🙂  Much obliged for the hasty response.

I just did the same thing. WHY doesnt fusion 360 have a trash bin or something. At least if it was completely run on our computer, we could easily get the file back. This has to change. Just think of a rogue employee doing this. it could cost a company a lot of money to redo everything, if they can retrieve it again... all because someone you thought you could trust with the file hits delete
