A question on fusion 360 academic license.

Im currently using fusion 360 license as academic version.

One thing that I am pretty wondering is, In my college course, there is a "must take class lecture on my major" and

for the term project of that lecture, students must publish patent.

(What ever idea is granted or rejected it is fine according to course. But we need to publish any way.)

Due to the term of use of Academic license, I can not use it as commercial purpose.

I actually don't know about US laws related with patent.

But in Korea(south) patent is a right that is perfectly commercial. What ever it is part of academic project.

(For now I don't have any plan to use it commercially like make it as actual commercial product and sell product.)

In this case, Is it fine to use fusion 360? or do I need to search for other product?

Talk to your instructor.

A school assignment such as this is generally about the process of obtaining a Patent, not actually getting a Patent for a design (which is very expensive).

Actually it literally takes minimum 20 bucks to request for patent at Korea.

(Non international patent, takes about 500 days to talk with patent office)

As you may know if using patent attorney then jump in to 2000 bucks

I feel sorry abou that. I think that would not be possible. It will be better to search  for other products. Or buy commercial license.

I already choose your answer as solution, but having some mistakes I thought I need  to make several corrections. So In question I said patent in Korea is perfectly commercial, but it is matter of how to make analysis of law. I searched for few websites. There are several different view to patent, which is patent can be commercial or non-commercial.  And also model utility right is 20 bucks, but general patent is about 2000 bucks(average). Sorry about my mistake.
