3Dconnexion spacemouse compact not functioning properly

I recently bought a 3Dconnexion spacemouse compact and hooked it up to my workstation. Installed the drivers and messed around with the settings but couldnt get anything except to zoom feature to work. I enabled all the features in 3Dconnexions' software settings for fusion 360 but things like pan, rotate, orbit, etc. just dont work. Read somewhere to disable the "dominant" feature and mess with the sensitivity but these didnt fix it either. I tried the spacemouse out in 3Dconnexion viewer, the software that came with the drivers i think, and everything worked perfectly. Is this an autodesk sided issue or am i doing something wrong?

Thank you! The mouse functions perfectly now, i didnt even know a feature like that existed in fusion 360 preferences.

I suddenly (December 2021) have exactly the same issue, but I don't have Spacemouse option in my preferences. Under the Preview Features, General tab the only options I have are HighDPIScaling and Mesh Repair Analysis.

The spacemouse works fine in Sketchup, the 3Dconnexions demo app and PrusaSlicer.

It's ok now, I installed the latest 3Dconnexion driver and it now functions 🙂
