3D spline complications

Can somebody please explain why when drawing a 3D spline it always closes the circuit when I dont want it to???

After each segment, you can select the next point, or the Finished, Green Tick.

Fusion is supposed to only close the spline if you select "Close Spline Curve" from the right click menu:

I have seen occasional cases where this happens unexpectedly, but I have been unable to reproduce this reliably.  If you have a repeatable recipe for doing this, we'd like to see it.  Can you record a video of this behavior?

Hi Jeff. Sorry for the late reply but I am in Australia. You are right I did it over and on the final post I right click and there it is, close spline curve. But how do I get rid of it, I clicked to close it, but the problem remains.

How you doing Dave its Charles from Innisfail N QLD. yes as Jeff pointed out the "close spline curve" in the right click menu is checked but when I click it the problem still occurs.

Hi,

also a double click on the last point or a return ends the spline without closing it!

that entry is an action, not a state.  If you click OK, the spline should not close.  If you right click and choose "close spline curve", it should close the spline and end the command.
