3D Export as STL loses materials

Hi all.

I'm trying to export my Fusion mesh to other render packages but I'm stuck with one material only with STL (of course).

My body is unfortunately mutli-material. When I export as fbx or obj, they keep the materials (as expected).

But the problem is that fbx and Obj exports at a very low resolution. Arc segments become very visible and there are sometimes gaps with vertices not weld...

I've read on another thread that export as STL is the only way to have a  little control over the geometry density during export but is there another solution?

EDIT: I tried something else: in Display Detail Control (right click on main body in the list), I saw that by default the component is in Adaptive mode. I switched to Fixed, and set the display detail level to HIGH before exporting as FBX.

Now of course the export takes much more time but I'm in the middle of it. Fingers crossed...

EDIT 2 : Nope, the fbx/obj export with display detail control set to HIGH didn't affect the exported mesh. Unfortunately.

Still waiting for a solution thus.

Thanks in advance.
