3-Tangent Circle Sketch Tool

Hello! I would've posted this in the Feedback Hub, but it is currently closed due to a large volume of suggestions and such (yes, I see the irony, but I would really like this feature to be added).

Anyway... The 3-tangent circle sketch tool is quite useful, but I don't see why it only allows you to make circles that are tangent to straight lines and not arcs or other circles. I can understand not permitting tangency to splines, of course, but it seems odd that you can't do so with lines of constant curvature, considering that you can create a circle that is tangent to three other circles outside of the 3-tangent circle sketch tool. I find it to be counter-intuitive and I doubt that this would be particularly challenging to resolve; however, I am just a user, and I have no clue what sort of time and energy goes into developing such an extensive program as Fusion 360.

Thank you for your hard work in developing this application and thank you for taking the time to read this little rant.

Hi,

is it something like this you are talking about?

Just my 2 cents, but I do not see the need for any specific sketch types when it is incredibly easy to add the constraints later. I would just draw a circle, then add tangent constraints to the geometry that you want.

@g-andresen Yes. These are the constraints that should be applicable using the 3-tangent circle tool.

@John_Wright Why should there be a 3-tangent circle tool in the first place then? If they bother to include it, it should also be capable of tangency between constant curvature.

I agree that it is a bit all or nothing. Either it should work in all conditions, or not bother. In terms of Fusion and where coding resources should be spent, I don't think that this is a biggie.

@John_Wright Exactly. I don't think it's a big issue at all, but it definitely feels incomplete and redundant.
