3 Point Plane on Mesh - not working anymore

Hey Everyone ,

Been using this method for a while. last time did that on mesh scan was a few days ago.

This morning while running fusion360 i was trying to do so again but it can not select any points on the mesh. I tried and read problems that people had in the past but nothing worked.

Even tried re-installing fusion but same issue. I can not select point on the mesh while in mesh mode trying to create a plane through 3 points.

I am running Mac OS ( yes it is updated as well ).

Have you tried doing in Direct Edit mode (Mesh > Modify > Direct Edit)?

i just tried it now and it does work.

but for whatever reason no idea why it stopped working in normal mode ?

I guess i will have to do it that way , just a hassle to do it every time you need a plane. more clicks added to a simple job that was working simply before.
