Workflow for Export to OBJ

I have a project I would like to export as an OBJ file, so I can import it into Blender for rendering. most of the methods I have explored export the entire unit as one file, and I'd like each component to appear in the import as a separate object.

The link that autodesk offers for a video to do this is "Broken"

Try Save as Mesh on the root component:

Then choose "1 file per body" in the dialog.

Does that get you what you want?

[edit] - in the above images, I did not set the Format to OBJ, but the same workflow applies for OBJ
