WORKAROUND - Autodesk Fusion 360 Showing Blank Page On Data Panel & Home Page On Apple Silicon Macs

Hi Autodesk Community,

I am posting this a notice for anyone else who runs into the issue of the Data Panel & Home Page showing up as a blank page in the latest v2.0.19207 & v2.0.19215 updates of Fusion 360 on Apple Silicon Macs. I'm unfortunately unable to create a direct support case with Autodesk for this issue under my IT Admin Education Plan, hoping this Forum Post can assist others who are experiencing similar issues and lead to a permanent fix in a future release.

We recently had this issue occur on all Apple Silicon Macs in our School after pushing out the latest updates, however, were able to confirm that our older Intel-based Macs were still able to access the Data Panel & Home Page without any issues. Through further testing we were able to discover that running Fusion 360 using Rosetta seems to fix the issue for Apple Silicon Macs as well - If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac - Apple Support.

If you wish to push this as a bulk change for multiple devices in your School, Workplace, etc. you can also create a basic Bash Script like below to force Fusion 360 to open using the x86_64 Architecture (a.k.a Rosetta), we then used Apple Automator to create an application to run this script. We used Jamf Composer to create a .pkg file that copies the application to /Applications in our environment and deployed it as a Package in Jamf. This shortcut also works on Intel-based Macs, as it is only telling Fusion 360 to run in the x86_64 Architecture.

@david_sHDYWF Are there any pending macOS updates on these machines? Also, can you let us know which version of Fusion you have installed on these machines (2.0.19215 is the latest build)?
