Windows 10 File Explorer crashes Fusion 360

Hello there,

I hope somebody can help me figure out what is causing fusion to crash whenever a windows file explorer window pop up.

I was working normally with fusion and I imported a mesh, edit it and did not save my work because it was a quick edit, i tried to save as stl and fusion crashed without error window poping out, then when i relaunched it and tried inserting the same mesh again. It wouldn't let me even select it. As soon as file explorer is open fusion would crash.

Examples of when the crash occur:

1- insert mesh

2- open file from computer

3- insert image

As soon as I select any of the options above, file explorer launches instantly freezes without loading all the files , at that folder and without letting me interact it would freeze for a second then fusion closes either giving me an error message to try to submit a ticket.

I tried reinstalling  fusion without success.

Sorry for the trouble you are facing. This seems a known issue with Chitubox.

The quickest workaround to this issue is to uninstall Chitubox until the issue is resolved. We will continue to look for a less-invasive fix.
