Will there ever be multi window support?

Will Fusion ever support multi-window views? Meaning will we ever be able to break out tabs into multiple windows? Fusion electronics supports this, letting you pop schematic and layout tabs into their own window, so why not mechanical designs? Often I find myself looking at two designs, and flipping between tabs is irritating. I have multiple monitors, I'd like to make use of them. 

Please tell me this is on the development list.

"ever" is a long time.  My guess is that eventually this will be supported.  As you observed, it is already implemented for Electronics, but there were some complexities that prevented it from being implemented for all workspaces.  Those complexities still exist, so I don't expect this to be addressed in the short term.

I guess I'd hoped it was a little higher up the list. I know I've seen requests for literally years. Most other major CAD software supports multiple windows. When electronics allowed the features I had hoped that was a sign of things to come...
