ok i will go try this out later,i let you know if this work, but as you write,i have to make a body with extrusion, and that is not what i want.I like to make a sketch design, and simple be able to print this, directly from the sketch,If i make a drawing in ordinairy paint, hell i can print it anyway i like it to be,i only have to adjust settings on my printer
Hi,
One focus of Fusion is the modeling of 3-D objects.
Sketches form the basis for the creation of bodies in different ways (by extrusion, sweeping or loft).
Ultimately, the engineering drawing is derived from the 3-D objects, but is not actively created independently of the model.
However, if you have no interest at all in creating 3-D objects, Fusion is not the right tool in my opinion.

hello Sr.well if you programmers can make a very good designing program like fusion 360,why can't you add in the option like print screen?I have this program to design my own models, but to be able to make a model i need a plain flat 2d construction plan/drawing,so i can copey this on my used materials like wood or aluminium, then cut it manual,to build my model, sofar i tried a lot,had many answers/options form the forums, but NONE was helpfull, I do not have a 3d printer, nor a lasercutter or CNC router,i do all manual, thats the fun of building a model.Fusion 360 is the best program i have ever used,so much more user friendly then autocad.but utocad his this print option?????? even in any scale you like.So has ordinairy paint, installed in every windows pc.but with paint,i first have to make a basis sheet, that has the right scale, for example a square from 107 pixels x 54 pixels, will give me exact a 1 cm x 0,5 cm blok when i print on a A3 printer, having setting for the marges all to zero.so if i make a part?like a ships keel, that for real is 9,5 ,eters,i draw that in scale 1 to 10,paint does print this in scale, using 3 pages,so put together i have a sjablone to copy to wood or metal, that is exactly the size i need.Look if i have a cnc router or laser cutter it all would be no problem, but i am a hobby worker,i do not have these machines.

Without an example file, my guess is that you have not had any training in Fusion 360 or in AutoCAD. Do you want to learn Fusion 360? Or AutoCAD? (This is a binary yes/no question.)
i had the license for autocad 1 yr,did the whole course, even few private lessons, but after 1 yr it was stil hocus pocus to me,fusion 360 is way more user friendly.i like to get better in using fusion 360 to it fullest, and i know i have to get a 3d printer and a laser cutter, cos then this little problem i have now, will no longer excist.printing 1 part that fits 1 A3 paper,no problem, but parts that are bigger then A3 paper size still gives problem printing a 2d drawing
the difference between a assembly drawing and a construction drawing ,i need to be able to copy/glue a printed version of parts i make to material i use to make my models,so i can cut tha part out and then assembly to my model, fusion makes only assembly drawings,NO construction drawings.
Hi,
1. I am neither a programmer nor an Autodesk employee, but like you I use Fusion to create my designs.
2. But I first create my 3D models virtually in design mode and check their functionality and aesthetics.
Only if they meet my requirements, I derive different drawings for manufacturing.
3. I create any drawing with Fusion, whether for "gluing on", basis for working on the machine in the workshop or for assembling.

Hello Guenther
again tnx for your reply, sure fusion is a wonderfull programm.but asfar i see it,what i like to do is not possible.so i make designs in fusion and keep making my working planns in paint,to me its a dissapointment that a program like fusion does not have this option.
@Captain1960…to me its a dissapointment that a program like fusion does not have this option.
Of course it does.
You have not yet learned how.
