WHY is flat pattern orientation still not adjustable?

This is so frustrating for me.

I make sheet metal parts and assemblies in Fusion360 and this has been a problem for over 5 years.

WHY?

Even redefining the "TOP" view doesn't fix the issue because the pick points don't change.  

I just want to put bend dimensions on my parts without doing a 5 minute workaround on HUNDREDS of parts.

I'd love to meet with you to discuss this workflow and your frustrations. The pick points are based on geometry, not the rotation of the view.
