Why is complex engraving impossible

This has been a recuring issue for some time. Everything else in fusion is so streamlined why do vectors and geometric complexity slow the copmuter down to a unworkable level? I can import 200-1000 line vectors without much issue. I am an artist , my masterpiece engraving contains upwards of 1000 lines.... my computer hangs forever or crashes when i try to import a complex svg. I also encounter errors when working with geometry that is overly complex . Will upgrading my computer fix this issue or is it not worth it ? Will a top of the line computer and graphics card handle these complex vectors ? Is there another Autodesk product I can try ?

Hi,

If you have to deal with engraving more often and especially with multilevel engraving, you are better off with V-Carve or Aspire from Vectric.

For complex motifs, however, you can relieve the system by deactivating "Show profiles" in the sketch palette.
