When trying to open file "Try again after update completes" bit there is no update.

When i try to open some specific files from a team i get the error message "Try again after update completes" with the message "You are in the process of installing an update that is required to open [file name]"

This, however, if false. I am not updating fusion, and when i go click the little clock in the top right to check on the alleged update there is nothing there. The first time i try to open one of these files a loadingbar popps up but there is just a green streak going past again and again. The rest of the times i try to open it just says opening Document... Both these things happen as well as the error message.

Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Could it be still that the file was edited with a Fusion version not yet available to you?

Also, I noticed at times that if I start two instances of Fusion at once one of them thinks that there's an update pending and complains about failing to update.

I have the same problem. Editing on one of my computers, can't edit on the other. This is upsetting because there is no update manager or way to force an update. I hope someone fixes this soon, it's messing with my workflow.

Do you have Insider Preview installed on one of the machines?

I don't have insider preview installed unless it snuck it's way in somehow, but I may have found a solution to force an update by just running the installer on the machine that was giving the error. This wiped my plugins but I can open the files I need to again.
