Weird Rendering Problem

Anonymous

I've had this weird problem for a few days now and I'm not even sure what's going on.

So, whenever I finish a render, I can't preview or download the rendered image, it's always stuck on this screen (attached) after I clicked the image. I've reinstalled fusion 2 times but I still have this problem.

Is there any other way to download the image?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion community!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting the rendered images of your design to download! Unfortunately, until we figure out why that dialog box isn't appearing properly, I believe that the only way you are going to be able to get those images is by doing an in-canvas render and using the Capture Image command to save the image to your machine.

I think that this may just be a graphical issue. Would you mind checking to make sure that you are using the most updated drivers for your graphics card? This should be done via the manufacturer's website rather than with the utility provided by Windows. The only reason I suggest that is because I have seen that utility tell me that I am using the most updated drivers when I knew for a fact that I was not. I have provided links to the two most common manufacturer's websites below.

AMD Website

NVIDIA Website

If you find that that doesn't cause that dialog box to appear properly would you be able to send me your diagnostic log files? To collect these, click the "?" in the upper right corner of Fusion and select "Diagnostic Log Files from the drop down menu as shown below.

This will package up most of what I need to see in a zip file that can be attached directly to your reply.

One last thing - I could help but notice that you have a notification within Fusion. Would you mind sharing what that notification says? It may provide some clues as to what is causing this issue. I know that there was an update that was rolled out this morning, and I'm curious as to whether or not that notification is telling you to restart Fusion to complete the update. If that is the case, could you restart Fusion and let me know if you are still unable to download your rendered images?

I hope this helps! Please let me know if any of my suggestions work out or if you have any questions or concerns.

Cheers,

Mike Tessier
