Warning: Modeling Error: Rail(s) cannot be tangent to profiles!

Hi, I'm struggling with a difficult surface. I realize I can't complete a loft with a rail converging on a profile like this, but I'm wondering if there's a workaround for completing surfaces like this.

As @g-andresen has already mentioned, please export your .f3d file and attach it to the next post.

It would probably also helpful to have some image of what the end result is supposed to look like.

By gut feeling is that your strategy to get tot eh end result needs a different approach, and by that I don't mean just this specific loft.

One approach that you should always be aware of is to flip the profiles and rails.  If the error you are getting is that the rails cannot be tangent to the profiles (which is a valid error case), then I'd try just making the rails the new profiles and the old profiles become rails.  I'm sure it will work here (hard to tell from a picture), but it can sometimes help.
