Very new to Fusion, need help creating ridges on a cap

I'm designing a medical bottle for my job and so far it's looking great, but I hit an obstacle in the cap.  The one we have is slightly curved and it has ridges on it to make it easier to open (for elderly people).  I have no clue how to create this.

My thought process is create a cylander the height of the cap, then use an array to create the ridges, then once it's good, warp or curve the cap somehow to match the cap I need to make.

I've attached a picture of the cap as well.  Any help, or directions to a tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Rob

Two stages,

first Sweep - join your profile for one ridge, along the edge of the cap.

Second - use circular pattern to join many ridges to the cap.

Might help....

Thats amazing. Do you have a tutorial or somewhere that can explain it in detail?  Coming from just 2D design, this is baffling to me. I make some pretty perfect boxes! lol.

Thanks!!

I'll create a screencast in a little while but you can also simply go through the timeline step by step to see how it works.

That'd be awesome. I tried examining the file but for some reason fusion crashed on my mbp.  Gonna reboot and try again shortly.

Here's a un-narrated screencast.
