Variable Pitch helix

Hi there, 

I want to create a helix that starts with a small pitch and gradually changes into a larger one. Something equivalent to the pic below.

 

I have looked through the various forum question threads to find a solution to this problem, I see this topic was last visited in 2020 and I don't see a definitive solution just yet. Has fusion 360 included this as a feature tool yet?

No, Fusion 360 does not have a variable helix function or command.

Unfortunately Fusion is missing this. This is the best I could do so far without any add-in:

Needs more work to be usable. For now it's best to use the add-in @WHolzwarth mentioned.

Here's a link to the Addin.

Unfortunately with a number of these Addins we are moving away from the spirit of Fusion 360 as this one seems to be available for Windows only 😕
