Variable Chamfer?

So... We have Variable Fillets but how about Variable Chamfers? 🤔

I like adding Chamfers to Surfaces that make contact with the Bed of a 3D Printer in parts because of the aesthetic but also just to avoid the unsightly Squish it may otherwise produce at certain angles.

Thing is... Depending on the Geometry of the Part I might only want said Chamfering to happen on one side of a Part which is a bit of a problem when the Part is a Cylinder which is where having access to a Variable Chamfer - akin to Variable Fillets - might come into play...

Things just... We only have the latter but not the former?!

In the above Example I was able to solve my need via a Profile to Sharp ( Point ) Sweep but really... Having a Variable Chamfer Option would be much preferred 😑

While waiting - create the variable fillet.

in Surface environment,

Delete the fillet faces you created,

Loft the 2 sets of edges to fill the gap, and

Stitch all.

Might help…..
