Hi development team,
I'm writing to suggest a small, yet impactful enhancement to the Fusion 360 interface: the addition of a back button next to the home icon.
Fusion 360 has its own "folder / file" thing going on. It's a little slow, so navigating it can be a little frustrating.
For example, in the situation below I have to: (1) hit a small "..." target, (2) remember the folder I was in before I left to check something in the current folder, (3) select it from a small list.
This is confusing, mental loady, and slow. It stops the file / folder system being explorable. The navigation workflow feels janky.
Idea: By the little house, please could we have a ⬅️ "back" button.
It would be really small change, but a wonderful improvement that would:
1. Help the exportability of the file / folder system.
2. Reduce confusion / need to remember which folder I came from.
3. Speed up workflow.
