Using a 3/8 endmill in a 1/4 drill hole

I’m trying to make a part and I got it the first time using a 3/8 endmill in a 1/4 drill hole. I tried to do it again and I can’t seem to do it now. I looked online and read other foams but it seems like it still doesn’t want to work.

Typo?

Real life, for any end mill larger than 1/4 will make the hole correspondingly larger.

Might help.....

The endmill is supposed to make a counterbore half way in the plastic. that’s why I did it that way and because I wanted to cut the material faster. I just wasn’t sure if there was a way around the program so it would cut the way I wanted it to. If that’s a dumb idea than never mind 😕

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file of your attempt to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Are you able to use the Hole feature to create a Counterbored hole in the model (before going into manufacturing environment).

You should be able to use the Drill toolpath and select any tool you want. If it's not selecting the hole, then it's likely that the axis of the counterbore is not perpendicular to the Z axis orientation of the part.
