My default material is:

   - Fusion 360 Material Library - Wood - Plywood, Finished

   - Apply a different appearance selected

   - Fusion 360 Appearance Library - Wood/Unfinished - Oak

I create a sketch, create a body from sketch with Press / Pull option, display properties.

The results:

   - Physical Properties is correct Plywood, Finished

   - Appearance is Surface - Matt

It did not apply the difference appearance of Oak as expected

Hi @balunist,

Is this in the same design? If you open a new design you should see the new defaults, although you may have to restart Fusion 360.

Hi @balunist,

Thank you for the screencast!

With that information and some testing on my end, it looks like Fusion 360 is correctly applying the default appearance but is incorrectly listing the applied appearance in Properties.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention - I've logged this issue with our development team.
