Uploading Solidworks 2020 Parts to Fusion 360

Hi there,

I'm after some help in determining if and when fusion will once again be able to upload Solidworks files; I was previously using Solidworks 2019 and everything worked fine however I've since updated to Solidworks 2020 and now my uploads are failing, any help would be appreciated,

Hi @Anonymous 

Currently Solidworks 2020 files can't be uploaded to Fusion, but development is working on that feature and it should be released relatively soon.

Thankyou @karina.harper , We rely on the two working together pretty heavily, do you know the approximate release date? Will I be waiting a few days, weeks?

Use STEP files, unless you are relying ton the AnyCAD functionality.

@TrippyLighting  Yeah I figured id have to work with step files for the time being.. bit of a pain but it seems as though it is the only workaround.. we tried going back to Swx 2019, however because we had converted some files to 2020 which would be lost if we went back.

We are having the same issue with Solidworks 2021. The company upgraded in Dec. New Models created will not load in Fusion.

AFAIK - There is not a translator for SolidWorks 2021 yet.
