Uploading an .spv file

I have a drawing file that has a .spv file extension and can't seem to find anything that I can view this file in. It was suggested to me to use Fusion but I am having no luck with this either. Are there any experts that know if and how I can upload/import a .spv file as a drawing file in Autodesk?

Things I have tried so far:

  1. Opening the file in Fusion - it says that it is not a supported format
  2. Uploading the file in Fusion - I can upload it and the file will show up in my project folder but it will have failed to upload and it greyed out.
  3. Changing the file extension in file manager - I have tried changing it to .dwg, .stl, .obj etc. and opening it in Fusion. It either opens to an empty workspace (.obj) or says that is failed to upload (.dwg).
  4. Viewing the .spv file in 3DViewStation - this also does not work, even when I change the file extension to .dwg

From what I have found online .spv is a "InConSoft Ltd Sim-Path vehicle file" but I can't find any software associated with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Would you be able to attach your .SPV file for investigation?

If this answers your question please mark the thread as solved as it can help others find solutions in the future.

I've created a Windows application (and now Mac as well) for creating custom thread files for Fusion. You can find out about it here. Hope you find it useful.
If you need to know how to offset threads for 3D printing then I've created a guide here which you might find useful.
If you would like to send me a tip for any help I've provided or for any of my software applications you've found useful, you can do this via my Ko-Fi page here.

Unfortunately it is a confidential part drawing so I am unable to share the file.
