Hi All,
I've been having an issue where existing CAD files uploaded to Fusion or opened from my computer (STEP, STL etc) cannot be edited in Fusion. I cannot rotate/zoom/pan in the new file with my mouse (although I can with my 3d mouse), or perform any editing functions (sketch, extrude etc.). If I right click on model in the browser, Fusion crashes. As a result there is no way to turn modelling from direct to parametric.
This issue can be bypassed by making a new assembly, then putting the file into it and editing the file in the assembly context, or by using 'save copy as' from the assembly menu then opening the saved copy. Saving the copy is the only way to allow capturing of design history.
I have tried opening these files on a different computer and everything seems to be fine, so I'm guessing it's a specific setting somewhere that's different.
Any help would be appreciated.
Windows 10, 32GB ram, 512SSD + 2x2TB HDDs, 1060 graphics, I7-6700, not sure where I go to check fusion version but it updates frequently.
Cheers,
Kyle
