Upload von Dateien nicht möglich

Hallo,

@Jonas.Siegrist

There are multiple things happening here.

1. The lab install is typically an admin install which means that you do not have to update Fusion as in the case of the regular install. This is done because for education especially it is mostly IT monitored and the request from education has always been that they cannot update to the cadence of Fusion.

2. Now here are some complexities of this. While the lab installs are admin installs, we have many students that install the "regular install" which means that Fusion forces to update. NOW, as in any CD program, when you save your file in a newer version they are NOT backwards compatible.

For example, say the lab install is Build 100. A student installs the regular build and we force them to update to Build 101. Now what is saved in build 101 cannot be opened (unless there is no schema change) in build 100. I believe this is where you are seeing most of your issues where your lab is behind your say personal computer.

Can you confirm what version of Fusion is in your lab machine and what version of Fusion you have on your machine? This will tell the story of what is happening here.

The solution: You will have to update your lab to 2.0.19440 which is the current production version (This will soon change into July as we plan an update).

Hope this helps set some context of what the problem likely is.

@RajkumarIlanchelian

Thanks for your answer.

Your described case happened one time with my PC at work and with my private PC at home, but that is not my problem.

My problem is still the followig:

I cant upload files via the programm. When I upload the files online with fusion Teams, at least I can see them in Fusion but I cant open them, because Fusion says that the version is too old.

Then I´m trying to make an update to the lab install but Fusion is writing, that the newest version is already installed.

Thanks for your help.

What version of Fusion do you have installed now that complains that the version is too old?

Hi

Sorry for my late answer.

We have version 2.0.19440 installed at the moment.

I am not sure why but at the moment it is working again. I think the problem was the manual uninstall. Fusion was not shown in the programms so I had to manually unistall Fusion. I probably forgot a folder or sth. and it run nevertheless with the old version.

Thanks for your help.
