Upload Pendiing

There appears to be a couple of uploads "stuck" in the process.  I can create new files and then save them however when I attempt to exit out of the program I get a message that says " uploads pending Fusion will close when complete" however they never seem to actually upload.  Eventually I cancel and exit the program. However, the next time I open Fusion there they are again, somehow these files got stuck in "buffer jail".  Any thoughts on how to fix this.

Hi @s.david.baxter

Thanks for posting! This issue usually occurs when a file is stuck in your upload queue. To resolve this problem behavior, I would recommend working through the instructions at this link.

One thing that you will want to be sure to do when working through the article is back up your Q-directory. The newest version of the file stuck in the upload queue will be included in the Q-folder, so please remember to copy the .f3d files in that folder to another location before deleting the Q-directory and other files described in the article. You will then be able to upload the saved copy of the design to the Fusion Data Panel or open it locally and save it as a new file to work with the design.

I hope this helps! If you continue to experience problems, please gather your diagnostic log files using this procedure and attach them to this forum thread. It will also be helpful to know the name of the file that is inaccessible.

I am still trying to work through this problem, thought I had it but, it is back.  I am working through option #3, I am to copy the "Q" directory and the UploadQueuedFileList.xml, as the first steps. II can't find these files/directories, have searched the drive but, no joy.

BTW, I did attempt Option #2 with zero result.  Further information...before exiting the system I do a save on each file and they upload just fine.  Then I "x" exit out of Fusion, and this is where I get the upload "0/4 pending upload" message.  After an hour I execute the "Quit Now" command however, when I restart Fusion and then "x" out again there they are again.  Help!

Hi @s.david.baxter

Thanks for the response! Do you see the Q directory and XML file is you enable hidden files and folders on your system by using the links below?

I hope this helps! If you continue to experience problems, please gather your diagnostic logs and attach them to this thread.

Thanks, it was the hidden files, once I found them it got easy. Have now
opened and successfully closed Fusion with no upload issues. Used Option
#5. I will close this ticket.
