Unable to select features directly

Have I messed up some setting, or why am I not able to select anything directly anymore? When I click on something, I almost always get this dialog, that I must select from, even if there is just one option.

Edit: Just noticed the Depth dialog appears just by hovering over a feature, I don't even have to click.

I have "Select All" in the selection filters:

It didn't use to be like this. What's causing this? It's like it's always doing a long mouse click, with which I previously did when I wanted to select something that was behind the most front feature.

(Also, annoyingly, when you try to select something from the Depth dialog with the mouse, then it may select some other feature from the design, and the contents of Depth changes.)

Hi,

1. What (which feature) do you want to select something for?

2. Please schow your process in a screencast.

I can show a screencast later. Anything I do, I cannot click an edge/face/point. As a simple example, if I select the Measure tool, I cannot simply click an edge to measure the length, as I have been able to do previously. As soon as I place my mouse cursor over the edge, that "Depth" popup appears and I have to select "Edge" from the menu.  It's very annoying.

I'm probably doing something stupid, but I have been using Fusion for years, and never experienced anything like this, and can't figure what's causing it.  It started some day ago. I restarted Fusion, but the behavior remains the same.

If I'm fast, and click before the popup menu appears, then I can select the edge. Here in the video, I select the Measure tool, hover my mouse over the edge without clicking. The Depth menu appears and I try to click the sketch line, but it does nothing. You can see the Depth popup flashing when I click. Then I have to select Sketch Line from the menu and I get my measurement.

I can't remember seeing the Depth popup appear before, unless I keep my mouse button down.

Am I going crazy, or is this how it has always been?

Hi,

It looks a bit strange.

Try it with the Service Utilities.

Thanks for looking into this and the quick replies; I really appreciate it!

I didn't try Repair Fusion, but I quit Fusion again. While Fusion was shutting down I got the message "Fusion exited unexpectedly" (or something like that), and the dialog to report the error to Apple (which I did). I'm using a Mac Mini M2 Pro.

I then restarted Fusion, and now it's working like it should. I had once before restarted Fusion, but then it didn't help, and the behavior was still odd.

I'm happy this is fixed now! It was driving me nuts. I thought I had accidentally changed some setting.

I think Fusion goes crazy when I unplug the display cable from my Mac Mini M2 Pro. The display is connected via USB-C. I use a laptop with the same display and the same USB-C cable, so I occasionally disconnect the Mac Mini from the display, leaving Fusion running. When I plug the display back, Fusion starts to behave strange. It just happened again. Clicking on things in Fusion worked randomly. For example, clicking the Hide/Show eye in the browser did nothing.

Also, everything in the Data Panel was very large.

I leave Fusion running most of the time, so that I don't have to rearrange all panels all the time (which I like to keep on the left side, next to the Browser.)

Have you ever tried disconnecting and reconnecting a display on a Mac while Fusion is running?
