Unable to post process

Im trying to post process a very simple 2D contour milling process using GRBL. Nothing big and fancy but a very small and simple process- like Ive done manu times before.

Suddenly Im unable to post process. In some situations I can get a simulation to work in other situations I get a error message saying that "Incorrect selection. Select either operation/setup or one or more NC Program." even if a nc program is highligted.

Sometimes  i manage to get the post process dialog box to pop up and I am able to define my post processing info and press "post" but nothing happens. It only adds a new NCprogram in the tree, but that seems to be completely frozen and without any interaction possible- and no NC editor window is opened.

Can anyone help me on this?

Please attach your model.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

The video will show you the missing Post Processor in your Machine Library which is the cause of your issue.  I also point out another consideration.

Thanks a lot - it worked

It seems that my installation forgets the post processer. I have processed numerous models with this setup but suddenly it seems that the machine looses the connection to the post processer so i have to re-assign it every time i post a new/update an existing nc program. Do you have any idea why this happens?

I am not experiencing what you describe but I do use a different method.  I have enabled Cloud Libraries and I configure and save my tools and machines to it.  In the screen captures below, not in order, I show where the Cloud configurations appear and how to allow them in the Fusion 360 Preferences.
