Unable to open .prt file in Fusion 360

I am trying to open/import a .prt file but I am unable to do so following the instructions posted:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

The first screen shot there shows .prt as supported and https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fil... also lists this as supported.

However when I chose File > Open "All supported types" does not list *.prt, and it's not available in any other options.  If I manually type the extension then I get an error "This file type cannot be opened."

If I try to do an upload import the file sits in my library with a yellow inverted T icon and only opens to a web view.

Has support for this type been removed?

Fusion is fully updated and I am using a valid Personal license.

Hello-

Do you know if you are running a full subscription of Fusion 360, or are you on a Personal License?  You can check by going to the Help Menu in the upper-right of Fusion 360 and select "About".  This will bring up a dialog and it will list what you have next to "Active Plan:"

Here is a document that explains the differences between the Personal, Startup, Commercial, and Education licenses:

Personal Licence suffers those restrictions, with external files.

Might help....

Okay it's a personal license issue, but those help articles didn't mention that limitation.

I'll find another way then.

Thanks.

What CAD program generated the file?

Good morning.
The Cad program was generated on NX Unigraphics (PRT.FILE)
I also can not open a DWG - I will attach this aswell.
Kind regards.

To attach a file you must go to the web-based forum to reply, not by an email reply.
