Unable to invite user to specific project

Hello,

I am trying to invite my professor to help edit my project. But the "invite" button is greyed out. Both him and I are using the educational licenses, so there shouldn't be any issues.

Additionally, when I try to invite him directly from the app, it doesn't allow me to type in any email addresses.

The project type is "Open", and it says he is a team member (but not of this specific project). This is what appears on his screen, with the following message appearing when he tries to click join project:  "Sorry.  The operation you requested could not be completed."

Any information regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated, as I am trying to finish my project as soon as possible before the deadline.

Thanks for using Fusion.

With the screenshot you attached, i can see you trying to invite people from an "Admin Project", but Admin project is not meant for that. This is just to store your sample files as admin.

Try creating a new Project and move your data to the newly created project, and then invite your professor over there.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I just made a new folder and am waiting for him to attempt to access it; I will let you know if this works.

Correction: I was asking to make a new project, New folder creation in the Admin project won't be solving this. A new project has to be created and send an invite from that.
