Unable to export files

Hey guys,

I have Fusion installed on 2 machines, have tried over the last 2 days to export STL files to my local PC, but they keep failing?

I was 3d printing at the last week, so it has been working, I just don't understand what has caused this,

I saw there was an update earlier this week, is it a coincidence?

Anyone else unable to export STLs?

Cheers

Not tried to export a file as STL, usually it’s a body or two, and that was working last night.

Might help....

No issues using both methods with my Fusion 360.  All updates in place.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Thanks for the replies guys,

Sadly I cant upload the f3d file as I cant export that either...

I have tried again to export some of my older files, and the ones I have done are working, however this one is still a no..

I have reduced the steps as much as I can in the design , but still nothing, absolute mystery!

Edit... doing abit more testing, i moved one of the designs to another project folder and i was able to export the f3d file, the one in the original location is still failing.

Might be just a bug to do with too many sub folders under a project maybe?

Cheers

James

Ok looks like I have cracked it, its the file name... I was using "1/24" in the name as I am making scale model parts, its the forward slash that's messing things up, without it, it exports fine. 🙂
