Unable to edit 3D sketch dimensions

Anyone else seeing this? Lately once a 3d sketch is anything beyond dead simple, fully dimensioning no longer changes the color to fully defined, no matter what I dimension. Along with this, all dimensions then become uneditable. I get an error message "delete the following constraints or dimensions" which half the time isn't followed by any constraints or dimensions, and the other half tells me to delete the dimension I'm trying to edit. This is not model-specific and has happened in all my Fusion models with 3D sketches.

Hi @JamesCAD9 ,

Can you attach the design that you have issue editing Sketch Dimension in Fusion 360? You can export by File>Export *.f3d/*.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply.

It's happening in several files. The main one is a derived design and the other one is using edit in place features. Might be better to temporarily add you to the project? Also, I don't think my clients would be comfortable with me posting their designs in a forum.

It mainly seems to be when a dimension has some downstream dependencies in the same sketch. Dimensions with no dependencies update properly, Other dimensions are hit or miss. Also, I've had a sketch be fully defined, added a sketch entity, and then the sketch stops appearing fully defined and the dimensions become uneditable. Not sure how reliably I can reproduce.

Hi @JamesCAD9 ,

Today we don't support Editing a Derived Sketch.

When we do a EIP(Edit In Place) on an External Reference, we should be able to edit the sketch.

Can you please share the data through private message or to my email address  (Sujay<dot>dsouza<at>autodesk<dot>com).
