Unable to complete upload of a file

I have an issue where I have an unresolved component in my assembly. It gives me the error 

"This design contains one or more unresolved components. Before you edit this design, you should first resolve the components in the Browser.

If you must make significant changes to this design before the components are resolved, use Modify > Compute Unresolved to compute the assembly as-is. This will break any assembly relationships that reference unresolved components.

Do you want to compute the assembly now?"

I perform the compute unresolved and all it does is remove the components from the assembly.

I then tried to manually resolve the component and receive this error

"Liam Carlson saved the design, but their upload may not have finished.
If Liam Carlson closed Fusion 360, the version they saved will finish uploading when they open Fusion 360 and connect to the internet on the same computer."

I can see the component in the data panel, but I cannot open it or interact with it. There is a wheel that is continuously rotating over the design as if it were still uploading, but this never finishes.
