Hello,

I had a computer failure and loaded Fusion onto a new computer.

I no longer have the ability to change a project from Editable to read only. The drop down menu is missing.

Running Fusion 2.0.18961 x86_64.

Thanks for posting this question. I'm trying to reproduce the effect and cannot. Can you please post a video or screen shot to show me what you are seeing? Thanks.

I have a similar issue in version 2.0.19440.

The read-only option is grayed out.

You have a different question I think.

None of those designs are marked read only, or editable. You seem to have a commercial account, a student account, or a trial account. Do you know which kind of account you have?

What are you seeing that indicates files are read only?

I am pretty sure I have a personal account.

I am missing the dropdown to select which of the documents are editable or read-only to manage the 10 active documents limit.

Thanks!

Thanks. Can you describe or show an image/video of what Fusion is telling you that indicates a file is "read only"? Is it a warning message, or other symbol?

Your account status is also shown in the title bar, as well as the about box. Can you please give a screen shot of these two places?

See how it says "personal (not for commercial use)" you should be able to see that, along with the document counter. Mine is at 7 of 10.

The about box says the account status as well. This is found on the ? Help menu in the upper right.

I think I have found a solution. Logging out of Fusion and signing in; the issue is resolved and I can see document count and dropdown again:

Thanks!

Hi Phil,

thanks for your suggestions.

In this screenshot you will see that I have a Personal edition; but I cannot see the number of documents; nor the possibility to change the docs to read-only:

I am fairly confident that I've seen that dropdown there previously and I am 100% sure I've seen the document counter before last update.

Any other hints on what to try?

Thank you!

Michal
