Tried to pull one face of a simple cylinder in a multipart design but Fusion froze. Then unable to export file as an stl or save as a mesh ( posted on this forum, and someone suggested others may have same issue - is it due to the latest update ? ). Network diagnostic test shows autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/collaborator marked as failed ( red dot ), which other posts have mentioned. Some users have managed to export when in offline mode ( though when back online, issues continue ). I cannot export when offline due to a second issue below.
Started a new "test" design, created a single cylinder and tried to pull one face - Fusion froze ( proving it is the Fusion installation rather than the design itself ). Repaired Fusion through service utility and cleared data cache, but failed to correct the export issue. Tried to but failed to un-install through the service utility, as I now have a constant upload in progress ( the test design I created previously ). Unable to enter any text instructions in the data panel to stop the upload. Deleted the folder Q ( user/appdata/local.. etc ), and "jobs.json" and "jobs/json.lck" in the P folder, but uploads continue ( despite rebooting, and logging out of my Fusion account and then back in, whilst folder Q and the two jobs files are now missing ( as I've deleted them ), the file is still showing as uploading ). It's therefore got stuck somewhere. It's a chicken and egg situation - I cannot try for an un-install whilst an upload is in progress, but that's stuck. Should I delete all temporary Fusion files on my system or try manually un-installing Fusion ? There doesn't seem to be any other option to try in the service utility panel.
