Two separate storage spaces? Disappearing projects

When I create a new project from within Fusion 260, it disappears after 30 seconds or so. If a design is saved there, I can keep saving new iterations and everything seems fine. However, if I close the design, I have no way of getting back to it, except through 'My Recent Data'.

I have tested saving in a premade project such as the Demo Project, and drawings are persistent. Similarly, I can open A360 Hub in a secondary web browser, create a new project there, then save a drawing to that project in F360 and it acts as expected.

I have fortunately managed to find a way to access the disappeared projects - if I have a drawing from one in 'My Recent Data', I am able to press 'View Details on Web' (which opens in my primary browser), then use the navigation buttons to get to 'https://myhub.autodesk360.com/g/all_projects/my' where all the disappeared projects and drawings are visible - but the projects accessible from Fusion (such as the demo project) are not, so I am not able to move or copy drawings between them.

The reason I mention using primary and secondary browsers is that if I try to open my A360 hub directly from the primary one, I get a page saying:

"You are logged in as my-email@gmail.com.
Login as different user"

But accessing it via a design from Fusion works.

My theory is that somehow my account has got two independent project databases attached to it, the primary one, which is visible from Fusion normally, and another one, which is where Fusion saves to. A web browser session can only be connected to one at a time, and if I try to access the other, the Autodesk back end thinks the project is on a different account and doesn't allow access. The only way to access the 'hidden' one is via a link from the Fusion app.

By looking at the URLs, it seems like the default user myhub.autodesk360.com/ue28b7170/g/projects/ has a different ID to the hidden one myhub.autodesk360.com/ue28b7171/g/projects/

Has anyone encountered a similar issue before, and how can I resolve it?

Hi,

have you ever looked at the data panel and checked if there is a choice for team and personal storage?

No teams, just my single user storage:

Are you using a filtered view? Make sure you are viewing all projects.

Although, from what you are showing, you are logged into two different hubs. The two hub id's, and the warning that you are logged in as another user sort of shows you have two accounts. Can you look on the account details for each of those hubs to check they have the same email address? That would be a problem.

Sorry about the delay, I've been using the workaround of creating a project online, and using that in Fusion to keep my work. I have checked that I am viewing all, and as far as I can tell - yes there are two separate accounts, sharing the same username and email. Changing username changed it for both, and I attempted to change email, but was unable to verify. Is there anything I can do apart from deleting the Autodesk account and making a new one?

I have only returned to the issue because my license on the 'account' used by Fusion 360 has expired, but there's nothing I can do because logging into Autodesk online I get told I still have over a year left.

It sounds like you are having this issue:

The solution is to move to a team hub.
