Hello Fusionistas,

I guess it was my time to hit the Internal CAM kernel error. If anyone has any input on this, I would appreciate.

I tried to the best of my abilities to follow the advice from https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Err... but it was without luck.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

cheers,

Cosmin

What is your intent with that toolpath that is failing? It seems that all the prior toolpaths removed all the material, unless there's something I'm missing?

Hi and thank you for looking at my issue,

The operations before the failing path are bound by an Inner Radius of 10mm. There is a small portion left to remove. I am attaching a small image of what is left for the failing path to work on.

Also, let's say that in Setup C, I remove the last 2 operations (so only 3 operations are left in Setup C) and I remove the 10mm Inner Radius of the second and third operation. When I go to Setup R, the first toolpath fails with the same error as reported. Same story for Setup L, first toolpath fails.

thanks,

Cosmin

It took me a bit of trial and error to get to the bottom of it, but it appears that the "Make Sharp Corners" toggle (in the Passes tab) is the culprit. Turn that off and you will get a toolpath:
