Trouble with square to round - getting to a flat blank

i wonder if someone much cleverer than me can help.....

i drew the attached file but cannot get it to flatten.  Ideas  please?

I resolved this myself -   the square corner rads were too small  (presume to do with material rules)   I wish the program would give some idea of what was the issue rather than 'there is an error in the model'
