Trouble Updating Fusion

Hi guys. i am trying to updated from Fusion 2604.1.48 to the latest 2605.1.39 and it is failing.

have restarted fusion and computer multiple times with no success.

 

Any help us much appreciated,

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear you’re facing repeated update failures in Fusion. The issue is often caused by a corrupted local cache. Clearing the Fusion cache usually resolves this problem. Please follow the steps below:

Steps to Clear the Fusion 360 Cache

  1. Close Fusion completely if it’s running.

  2. Open the Run Dialog
    Press Windows + R on your keyboard.

  3. Enter the following path and press Enter:

     
    %localappdata%\Autodesk\
  4. In the folder that opens, locate and delete the folder named: Autodesk Fusion 360

  5. Go back to Run (Windows + R) and enter:

     
    %appdata%\Autodesk\

    Delete the folder named Autodesk Fusion 360 if you see it.

  6. Restart your system.

  7. Open Fusion again.
    It will recreate a fresh cache and download required components. After this, updating should work without errors.
