Trim option in Fusion 360

I have a Chassis Model in Fusion 360. I have made a 3-d Sketch using parameters and then used the pipe command to perform the piping on the chassis. Now I am stuck as I do not see any direct method to trim pipe ends. There exist interference between them and I need to remove that.

As there is trim option in SolidWorks to trim pipes, is there any way in Fusion 360 to do so.

Please help. Suggest any method to perform the trimming of pipes.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

1. Please show a screenshot with markings for the separation points.

2. Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local device  > attach it to the next post.

Sir I have tried this, this works good when there are two pipes but when there are 3 or 4 pipes then it becomes very difficult to perform. With 3 or more pipes split body is not working unless using extend splitting tool option. With use of extend splitting tool option, it is also removing undesirable portion of bodies.

Can you tell what to do for this?

Hi,

Try using an (uninjured) offset (dist = 0)surface as a cutting tool, not the tube surface.
