Transfer of projects from Edu to Personal licence

Hello guys,

Edu licence is finally coming to an end.

I'll go for personal licence next.

Is there a way to use the same account and access all my projects ? Or is there a way to export everything and put it back in a new account (already exported everything to .step) ?

Thanks in advance.

PS :

So once the Edu licence comes to an end, I'll just apply for a Personal
one, and all the data will follow ?

Nice 🙂

Hi,

The data is bound to the account and not to the license.

Great !

So once the licence expires I'll just go to the personal licence website and ask for a renewal.

Will post here if I have any troubles with that.

Thanks a lot !

@g-andresen

In my case, not only the license but the account as well, being educational, belongs to the educational institution and will be terminated before the beginning of the new school year, Sept 2024, as I graduated in May.

It makes sense, as the email used for the account signing-in is a school email that ceases to exist a few months after you graduate.

The question still stands, how to transfer all school content (in my case from Fusion) to my personal account.

@jorgerivasJR9DZ There are two things you will need to do. First is get a personal license and then transfer over your current account to a new email - https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Transferring-all-t...

The above document can help. Please let me know if this helps.
