Hi

I'm new to Fushion.  I'm milling 2 flats on a part that is 3.250 OD the OD is finished just want to mill the flats on the part.  Which tool path is best for this to avoid touching the finished OD?

2D Contour, but press the ALT key when you select the edge of one of the flats. Repeat for opposite side

Hi Seth

Thanks for the reply on the flats and sorry for taking so long to reply to you and thank you, it worked out great.

Wondering if you could help me out with another problem

I'm trying to mill the part attached.  I not to sure which milling toolpaths to use.  All holes and diameters are complete just need to rough and finish the face with the raised nub.  Can you please help me out.  Thanks

Roughing: 2D or 3D Adaptive (3D will rough out the radii on the nub)

Finishing: We have the new Flat Finishing toolpath (added to Fusion just last night), that will do a great job for finishing the face

3D Parallel or 3D Contour for the nub
