Threading

I have a hollow cylinder and I want to thread the internal surface at 26mm x 1.0 thread. Try as I might I only get the option of 26mm x 1.5 threads. I tried making the ID bigger to 27mm - same options. Why can't I force a 1.0 thread pitch?

I guess Autodesk doesn't consider 26x1 a standard thread. Unfortunately there's no easy way to add custom threads to the thread tool. You can make a XML file with the info and add it to the built in threads but the folder moves with every update but will not move your file to the new location. If you do a search for custom threads you should find info on how to do it.

I want to make custom stub acme files, they're 29deg, not 60deg, and they have much shorter major/pitch/minor height.

Can I make an xml to make a custom SA thread?  Where do I put it?
