Thickening a surface.

I have tried to thicken a sleeve using both the solid and surface thickening options. When the thicken dialogue box opens and I try to select the surface, it won't let me. Any thoughts?

LOL, yes, with an empty model there is definitely nothing to select 😉

That is really quite a spectacle!

Is your surface body watertight, have you stitched your sleeve if there are multiple surface bodies?

And is there any self intersecting geometry by any chance?

Questions may make no-sense to other people but you learn weird things when using surface modelling as recklessly as I do.

Sleepy Regards

Are you planning to attach your corrected model?  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
