text on a curved edge

Last request for help today i promise!

Im trying to emboss some text along a curved edge. It seems to be "too curved" and is not following the path how i would like.

how would i make it more naturally curve with the face please? ive tried to use plane at an angle or tangent plane but for some reason it wont let me select a plane to that curved face
