Text Extrusion not working in Fusion

Hello everyone

This issue/bug or problem is still persisting in my program. The text extrusion is not working, or it does but inconsistently, some parts it works, on some parts doesn't work. Has the issue been reported to side support engineering team=? why since last year it has not been resolved? here is the screenshot of the error, it reports nothing more than "cannot complete the extrusion".

Hi,

1. did you try „emboss“ instead of extrusion?

2. Please share a sample file

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

Some fonts will not work because of their structure but a lot will work.  If you use Ariel font, I will bet it works every time.  Your can also try and edit the sketch and Explode the text.

well, is there any way to know what are the causes of this issue? because Its not possible  restrict work to use only "arial" or "times new roman" but mostly I am working with custom fonts. So I don't think that I found a solution. Below is the files as requested.

Hi,

Since I don't have the font installed, I can't check it.
Go to the sketch and convert (Rightclick "Explode") the font to vectors or tell what font it is.

Hello Günther,

Here is the mentioned font, you can try to install it and then try to extrude it on the black ABS plastic part on the side of the enclosure, as you can see from the screenshot in very first post of mine, that exactly where the issue is.

Hi,

In Fusion, conversion to paths was not possible and Inkscape also refuses.
In the end, I first sketched the text in V-Carve and exported it as DXF.
The extrusion in Fusion was successful.
You may have to scale the contours.

imported into fusion and it works, thank you Günther, for you kind assistance.
